Collecting, Packing & Donating to Support Westerville Area Resource Ministry
ReVision LASIK and Cataract Surgery is proud to make a donation to the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) through our practice’s ReVision Gives Back program. WARM is a non-profit serving the Westerville community by providing short-term assistance, education and employment services to encourage individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and restore dignity.
WARM’s client-choice food market is a vital resource that allows clients to shop through aisles with a personal assistant to help make nutritional selections. A large portion of the market’s fresh foods are donated by local restaurants, grocers and bakeries.
The ReVision Team recently participated in a food collection and ‘group pack’ for WARM’s Share Back A Pac program. Share Bac A Pac provides healthy foods and snacks to children at risk of hunger on weekends and during school breaks when free and reduced meals are not available.
ReVision spent an afternoon helping the WARM Team sort food items into packages that will be delivered throughout the Westerville community. Thousands of Share Bac A Pac meals are delivered each year which means donations are always needed and greatly appreciated.
Most wanted items for Share Bac A Pac include:
- Fruit Cups
- Granola Bars
- Canned Pasta
- Go-Go Squeeze
- Cheese Sandwich Crackers
- Instant Oatmeal Packets
- Boxed Raisins
Food donations can be dropped off to WARM Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and a non-perishable food drop box is available 24/7.
ReVision LASIK and Cataract Surgery is proud to support WARM and the life-changing difference they are making in the Westerville community. To learn more about their programs, how to donate and volunteer opportunities, visit www.warmwesterville.org.
