Surgical Technician
POSITION SUMMARY:
ReVision LASIK & Cataract Surgery is a busy surgery center seeking a Surgery Technician who will thrive in a positive team culture and focus on exceptional patient experience. This individual will work directly with patients and surgeons in a private Ambulatory Surgery Center OR. Enjoy a schedule of daytime hours that allows you keep nights and weekends free. ReVision offers competitive pay and benefits package. Full time position available in our Columbus and Mansfield practices.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prep the operating room prior to the start of procedure
- Cleanse and disinfect surgical instruments and or equipment according to established protocol
- Assist in escorting patients in and out of operating room
- Assist surgeon during procedures as scrub technician
- Maintain sterile field and use sterile technique
- Maintain and operate ophthalmic surgical equipment including lasers in the operating suite
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ophthalmic OR Experience preferred but not required.
First Impressions Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
ReVision LASIK and Cataract Surgery is committed to a high touch patient experience. We are seeking an individual with an authentically positive attitude, and an above and beyond service approach to be a First Impression Care Coordinator to our patients. Responsible for the check in and check out processes, back up for all clerical positions. Responsible to consistently execute the ReVision Service Mission standards. Full time position available in our Mansfield practice.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Scheduling patient visits
- Management of the patient check in and check out processes
- Use of electronic medical record software
- Communicating with referring physician offices
- Providing support to other clerical positions
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ophthalmic Technician
POSITION SUMMARY:
ReVision is seeking an individual with a positive attitude, strong integrity and a passion for service. An Ophthalmic Assistant is responsible for preparing patients for the exam and beginning the examination with standard Ophthalmic Testing and measurements. This position works closely with patients and physicians. Thorough training and on-boarding programs are provided to all new team members to instill the confidence and skills needed for professional success. Full time position available in our Mansfield practice.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patient medical and vision history both past and present
- Ophthalmic testing and measurements as ordered by the physician
- Provide consistent and accurate documentation as an ophthalmic scribe
- Administer drops as ordered the physician
- Electronically transmit prescriptions as ordered by the physician
- Provide patient education on current diagnoses, surgical procedure options and medications
- Assist physician in minor in-office procedures
- Ophthalmic equipment cleaning and maintenance
- Returning patient phone calls and effectively triage emergent patient inquiries
- Represent ReVision in a patient-centric and service minded manner

Pre-Post Operative Care Nurse
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are a busy surgery center seeking an RN who will thrive in a positive team culture and focus on exceptional patient care. This individual will work directly with patients and perform the day-to-day surgical and ancillary services within the ambulatory surgery center. Our center keeps daytime hours to keep your nights and weekends free. ReVision is currently seeking a candidate to fill this role in a PART TIME capacity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates technical expertise in areas appropriate to Ophthalmology and the center's patient population.
- Deliver care, and direct the delivery of care by others, in a manner that is consistent with current standards of the profession and with policies and procedures of this center.
- Interact with patients, fellow employees, physicians, vendors and other customers in a manner which encourages quality patient care, harmonious working relationships, positive customer relations, and enhances the image and reputation of the center.
- Supports the center's mission by dependability in attendance, punctuality, the timely completion of care and other assignments, resource and information management, and attention to principles of quality service.
- Understands regulatory standards (AAAHC, CMS, and OSHA) and Leads preparation for and compliance with regulatory agency inspections/audits.
- Maintains and improves skills and knowledge appropriate for this position, personal growth, and for enhancement of patient care.
- Promote an environment in which all team members can work as a team, and develop individually.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Ohio Licensed RN. Previous surgical services experience is preferred.
Lobby Concierge Barista
POSITION SUMMARY:
ReVision LASIK and Cataract Surgery is a busy ophthalmology practice seeking a Lobby Concierge who enjoys being helpful to others and interacting with the public. This individual will act as a Barista, serving complimentary beverages and light snacks to visitors, while also providing directions to their desired destination within the building. No Barista/coffee experience necessary. This is a contract position at ReVision's Columbus practice location with Monday - Friday daily shifts available. Specific hours and compensations will be discussed with interested applicants.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome guests entering the building
- Provide directions to offices and restrooms in the building
- Manage Lobby Bar
- Serve complimentary beverages & light snacks
- Operate coffee dispenser and tabletop cookie oven
- Prepare and package snack items, as needed
- Maintain proper storage of snacks
- Keep bar and lobby areas clean and tidy
- Perform daily/weekly cleaning of bar equipment
- Complete weekly inventory of food and supplies for ordering purposes
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Patient Educator
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are a busy ophthalmology practice seeking a Patient Educator who will thrive in a welcoming team culture and focus a high touch patient experience. We are seeking an individual with an authentically positive attitude, an above and beyond service approach and the desire to thoroughly understand procedures in the field of ophthalmology. This team member is responsible for educating patients on surgical options, financing, scheduling of procedures and all corresponding record-keeping.
