Casey’s Story Part 4, LASIK and Visian ICL Patient

Procedure Day

We are thrilled to share Casey’s experience on her procedure day. She had a Visian ICL in one eye and LASIK in the other.

She was nearsighted, and now #CaseyCanSee!

I decided to get LASIK and Visian now because I was never a candidate before. I decided to come in for a LASIK evaluation because I’ve heard Dr. Schumer has a new technology that would make it possible for me to not be dependent on glasses or contacts. I just didn’t believe it was going to actually happen, even when he told me, “oh yeah, we can schedule surgery“. And now that today’s the day I’m very anxious, I’m very excited and I think it’s going to be totally different when I just sit up and open my eyes, being able to see the clock or see exactly what’s in front of me because I was never able to do that before.
