Honoring Angels Working to End Pediatric Cancer

Pediatric cancer is relentless; which is why services provided by Angel Works are priceless. After meeting Ellie Hite, Founder of the local non-profit, and hearing countless heartwarming and gut wrenching stories about children and families helped by Angel Works, ReVision knew this was a perfect honoree for the ReVision Gives Back program. Then we asked ourselves, ‘What more can we do?’ to further support this organization’s mission to provide financial support and activities to connect and uplift children and families battling cancer. Watch our Facebook interview with Ellie and two amazing kiddos being helped by Angel Works.

Local Businesses Partnering To Do Good

The answer came from OUAC, Inc., a fellow local business based in Dublin, Ohio. As the corporate headquarters for several Once Upon A Child, Plato’s Closet, and Clothes Mentor retail locations in Columbus and Toledo, OUAC, Inc. said YES to partnering with ReVision to help raise funds and awareness about the wonderful work Angel Works is doing in our community.

During the month of October, OUAC, Inc. recruited the teams at each retail store location to ask customers if they’d like to get in on the giving to Angel Works by donating $1 or more at checkout. They quickly found the resounding answer from customers was YES! OUAC, Inc. went above and beyond those amazing in-store donations and generously donated an additional $1,000 from a corporate level.

An OUTSTANDING Donation Because of YOU

By local community members and businesses coming together to do good, Angel Works received a total donation of $6,448! The majority of these dollars – $4,448 – were collected at all OUAC, Inc. retail locations. Special kudos goes to the team of Once Upon A Child Westerville for collecting the most in-store customer donations. This is an incredible amount to raise and it wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of each OUAC, Inc. team member and kindness of customers.

ReVision says a heartfelt THANK YOU for this phenomenal outpouring of support for Angel Works. The funds raised from this wonderful month of support will allow Angel Works to help even more families pay expenses and create memorable experiences for local kids battling pediatric cancer.
