Beyond the stage, CAPA provides arts programming to for all ages to enjoy. Popular festivals, Summer Movie Series, and initiatives to employ local artists are all made possible by this dynamic nonprofit. Education and engagement initiatives provide free and low-cost creative experiences to ensure everyone can experience the transformative power of the arts.
CAPA also leads and finances theater rehabilitation projects to ensure the city’s historic landmarks maintain their beauty, integrity and are safe places to welcome thousands of visitors each year. Breathtaking CAPA-led venues include the Ohio Theatre, Palace Theatre, Southern Theatre, Lincoln Theatre, Riffe Center Theatre Complex, McCoy Center, Drexel Theatre, and Shubert Theatre.
